Freemium photo editor and social network

A freemium photo editor and collage maker called PicsArt has certain elements in common with a social network. Users that think their creations are worth sharing post them to the PicsArt network, where you may follow users and look for fresh artwork using hashtags or search. In order to keep users entertained and involved, the editor also provides stickers, gifs, and a selection of challenges.
Create amazing works of art

Even though there are countless photo editors available, it might be challenging to select the best one for your purposes. It’s challenging to find the perfect editor; similar to Goldilocks and the three bears, one will be too complicated, the next won’t have layers, and the third can be too complicated. Could PicsArt alter all of that?
The PicsArt download and installation process
You must download PicsArt from the Microsoft Store in order to use it with Windows 10. The iPhone and Android platforms are also supported. You’ll need to sign in when it has been installed, which you can do by creating an account using an email address or by using a variety of sign-in services. After logging in, you’ll need to create an account by selecting a username and password.
PicsArt for Windows 10 – how it looks

The programme will ask you to choose a picture when you first open it. This can be an image from your computer, one from their collection of no-cost photographs, one you’ve already saved to your profile, or even one from Facebook or Instagram, though it’s usually simpler to select one of these if you’re using PicsArt on a mobile device.
After selecting a photo, the editor or collage maker will start working. The learning curve for PicsArt Editor is rather steep, so be prepared to get overwhelmed. To the left of the primary image are the alternatives that are accessible to you.
PicsArt Collage is just a little bit more straightforward. Layout options are located to the left and bottom, while configuration options are located to the right, where you can alter the collage’s appearance.
What kind of edits can you make with PicsArt?

The sheer number of editing choices available to you in PicsArt is what contributes to its high learning curve. The editor’s capability for layers, like Photoshop, is its most crucial feature. This makes using the software to accomplish some very amazing things much simpler. Other than that, there are a tonne of capabilities that will enable you to create some amazing art.
The editing features in PicsArt are more geared toward entertainment than serious graphic design, but you may still be rather inventive. Standard editing tools like cropping, resizing, and adding text are available, along with stickers, filters, lens flare, runout, motion, cloning, and other options. It’s not immediately obvious from within the app which features are premium-only unless you click them. In fact, there are so many features that it will probably take you a while to become familiar with them all.
Is it any good?

At least theoretically, PicsArt is a highly inventive programme that will provide creative individuals with hours of entertainment. Even while it may take you some time to properly master it, you can surely create some really fantastic images to post on social media and the PicsArt network. You can participate in PicsArt’s colourful, dynamic, and sizable social media following on its entertaining website, which features several challenges. PicsArt is fantastic in this regard.
Unfortunately, in actual use, the app wasn’t quite as useful. When we were testing, it frequently crashed and, when it did work, loading photos and applying effects took an absurdly lengthy time. Due to this, using the app became a little irritating and the creative process was seriously slowed down.
Great in theory, not so in practice

PicsArt was something we really wanted to enjoy, and in some ways, we did. For those who are serious about image editing for amusement, this programme is fantastic. Although it doesn’t allow you quite as much flexibility as a professional photo editing programme like Photoshop, PictBear and Photo! Editor are far superior in terms of sharing-friendly choices. It was created with the Instagram generation in mind and does an excellent job.
Sadly, using it was a pain in the neck. Every time you choose a new image, a large ad loads if it isn’t already loading slowly or stopping and crashing. This is a rather significant issue that seriously hampered our ability to enjoy this software.
